Hi! I’m Eamonn!

I’m a 16.2hh Anglo Arab and 25 years old.

I have only very recently arrived at my new home but have settled in great. I have made a couple of friends and am simply happy to be able to wander around outside.

I haven’t had much, if any, turn out for years. I used to be a race horse in my younger years, and unfortunately I spent a lot of time stuck in my stable. I do still enjoy going to bed at night though, as I am unfortunately quite thin and struggling to put any weight on in this cold weather.

Health wise, my new family don’t have much information on me. When I first arrived at The Ark I was very skinny. I’ve had my teeth done and I’m on lots of special food to try and fatten me up. But it seems to be a very slow process. Good job my new family are trying everything they can to help me.

I have a few bad habits, particularly wind sucking. This developed because of my boredom over the years, and now I can’t stop. I spend more time wind sucking than eating at times. My new human family wish I would concentrate on my food a bit more.

I can be a little bit grumpy but I’m actually a real sweetie once you’ve gotten to know me. I love a cuddle and a kiss from my new mums. When I get a kiss I stick my lip up in the air.
