Small Furries and Feathers

A small area of our rescue centre accommodates rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, gerbils, rats etc. as well as cage birds when needed. Please take a little time to look at the gallery below showing the rabbits etc. we have available for adoption. If you see one you like click its picture to find out more about it. Perhaps there is one here you could love and provide a home for. If you would like to meet one of the animals on this page with a view to offering it a home, then please contact us or call the Ark on 01507 358140 and we’ll be happy to arrange introduction. Make sure you have read and understood our Adoption Agreement so that you understand on what terms we can offer you an animal.Please note: . All meetings with our small animals/birds by prospective adopters are strictly by appointment, as are all collections, once satisfactory checks have been done. Appointments are daily, including weekends 12.00-2.00pm.

Our adoption donations for small furries, effective from 1st January 2026, are: One rabbit, not neutered or vaccinated – £40, two rabbits £45

One rabbit both neutered and vaccinated – £45 for one, rabbit – £60 for two

Guinea pigs – £25 for one, £35 for a pair

Small furries: hamsters, rats, mice etc. etc £10 each plus a donation for cage

Budgies, canaries and other small birds – £10 each plus a donation for cage. Larger birds, parrots, cockatiels etc – on application to the manager

You will be required to download and complete this adoption form and agree to our terms and conditions before adopting any animal.
