Dog Boarding

We offer a dog boarding service here at the Ark.  The kennels are large with lighting, heating and even piped music with very secure exercise areas and transit corridor. We can accommodate dogs on special diets, medication and with medical conditions. With effect from 1st January 2026 our charges are going up to £20 per dog per kennel a night, £25 for two dogs sharing a kennel, £30 for three dogs and £35 for four dogs sharing a kennel. If you wish more than three dogs to share a kennel please discuss this with a member of staff first. These rates will apply to all present bookings for 2026 and all those made after 1st January.

If you want to make a booking or request details about this service please fill out the form below with all the details requested and we will get back to you. Please note, all animals must have current vaccination cover, including kennel cough and we’ll need to see the vaccination card on each admission as proof of this. The card will be photocopied and kept in the animal’s records and will be repeated annually so that we can satisfy ourselves that all vaccinations remain current. Failure to produce proof of up to date vaccination may invalidate the booking and we may not be able to accept the dog for boarding.

PLEASE NOTE: With immediate effect drop off and collection times are changing and will be between 10.00 am and 2.00pm. If you require drop-off or collection outside these hours, it must be dicussed with staff before it can be agreed. You may be required to book an extra night.

If you wish to board other animals e.g. cats, rabbits or other species, please discuss with us first, making us aware of any special care instructions. If we can help, we will, but cannot guarantee we’ll always have space unless a firm booking is made.
