We offer a dog boarding service here at the Ark. The kennels are large with lighting, heating and even piped music with very secure exercise areas and transit corridor. We can accommodate dogs on special diets, medication and with medical conditions. Our charges are £10 per dog per kennel a night and £15 for two dogs sharing a kennel. If you wish more than two dogs to share a kennel please discuss this with a member of staff first.
From 1st January 2017 we regrettably have to put up the prices to £12 a night for one dog, £17 for two and £22 for three sharing a kennel (that’s up £2 per night on prices of the last few years and the first price rise we’ve made). We are also now charging a booking deposit of £20 because we’ve been let down a lot this year, meaning we’ve had to turn people away when we could have accepted them. The deposit will, of course be deducted from the total cost and can be paid through PayPal from this website.
If you want to make a booking or request details about this service please fill out the form below with all the details requested and we will get back to you. Please note, all animals must have current vaccination cover, including kennel cough and we’ll need to see the vaccination card on each admission as proof of this. The card will be photocopied and kept in the animal’s records and will be repeated annually so that we can satisfy ourselves that all vaccinations remain current. Failure to produce proof of up to date vaccination will invalidate the booking and we will not be able to accept the dog for boarding.
If you wish to board other animals e.g. cats, rabbits or other species, please discuss with us first, making us aware of any special care instructions. If we can help we will but cannot guarantee we’ll always have space unless a firm booking is made.
If you’ve sent a booking form in and not received a reply within 24 hours, please check your Spam/Junk file. If it’s not there, then please email to let us know. The security on some email accounts won’t allow our booking form to be sent for some reason unfortunately, mainly when using mobile phones to send them.
