Frankie

 Frankie was born to a feral mum and lived in the garden of her birth for all of her 18 months’ life, living a semi-feral existence and being fed by the house owner. Once she’d got over the shock og being moved to the Ark, she was more friendly to people than we expected. Once she had weaned her kittens and been spayed, we decided to put her up for adoption rather than return her to her semi-feral life. She’s been adopted by a very patient lady who has taken Frankie’s settling into a domestic setting at Frankie’s pace. It hasn’t taken long, every day new progress is made and we hear ths she’s now found the pleasures of sitting on her new mum’s knee for some fuss.

We had daily updates for the first few days as Frankie gradually found her paws. This is such a success story and we’re thrilled to see this lovely girl learning she doesn’t have to fend for herself any more and enjoying the pleasures and comfort of such a loving home.
