Milly

Milly had a very poor home before coming to the Ark, living with a family full of young children and cats and with little food or love. Unsurprisingly, she became pregent and managed to feed and care for her 5 kittens remarkably well in difficult circumstances. She even had to stand by helplessly while the children played “catch” with her kittens. So on arrival at the Ark she was fiercely protective of her little family until she realised this was a place of safety with as much food as she needed and then she relaxed and we began to see the real sweet-natured Milly. And all this at just a year old. She’s now been adopted and is lapping up all the love, attention and home comforts she’s getting. Her proud new mum and dad have written to say:

“Less than 24 hrs and Milly has settled very well. She has even started using my iPad ! 😄 We shall give her the best care and love, please feel free to contact us and come and see Milly whenever you wish.”

We’re so happy for Milly. With her kittens off her paws she can now start to live the life a young cat should. Go girl, enjoy every minute!
