Meet Ninja!

NINJA’s STORY

We’re not sure how long Ninja has been with us now, but it’s been a while and  she’s thought to be about 11 years old. She’s a gentle, independent and sweet girl who likes to do her own thing in her own time, She’s quite shy but as time has passed she has become more affectionate towards us is more relaxed with strokes and very accepting of treats! 

Ninja is free to roam the Ark as she pleases but does come into a pen during the winter/seal traffic time to keep her safe as she likes to wander out of the Ark and up the lane. She is accepting of this and usually just goes back to her hidey den under a portacabin when released. However, this year she was put alongside 2 other gentle, quiet cats and she bonded nicely with them, even sharing their bed, which was lovely to see. She enjoyed their company so much that when we released her again she actually chose to stay close and stayed in the cat garden opting to sleep in with her friends at night. We are very proud of little Ninja and hopefully she’ll make friends with other resident cat garden cats too.
