Hello! We’re Tabby’s Duo Kittens!
We are a pair of Tabby’s beautiful cream and brown tabby kittens. We’re both boys, one darker than the other and are now around 12 weeks old, are fit and well but not neutered, vaccinated or microchipped. We were found hiding at the bottom of somebody’s garden with our stray mum and, having never had any contact with humans, took some catching! We have great appetites and are eating 3 meals a day of Felix As Good As It Looks kitten but are also being introduced to Felix Original kitten food.
We’re very timid and, since having to be separated from our protective and loving mum, we’ve struggled to to relax and trust, as suddenly being looked after by a human is scary when you’ve never been touched or interacted with them before. Slowly but surely though, we are growing in confidence and starting to trust our carers, even allowing strokes and rewarding them more and more with our beautiful little purrs. The lighter one of us is the more confident and takes more of a lead, while the darker one prefers to sit back and watch, but we now allow our humans to pick us up with minimum fuss and we allow short cuddles whilst being held, but are quick to spring off their arms once we can. When left on our own we spring into life, playing and running around but acting shy if someone spots us, but we don’t hide away as much as we did when we first arrived. We’re very closely bonded. We’re now beginning to respond to adults once we trust them but have never had any experience of children or other animals.
Additional information
We do everything together, taking comfort from each other but, most of all we love to play together before snuggling up for long, lazy naps. Therefore, we must be rehomed together. Our new home needs to be calm and quiet, no young children or other pets. We can’t stress enough that we need lots of time, patience and gentle attention to our needs. We can’t be rushed, but need to be shown that life isn’t so scary and we can let our guards down and be kittens without a care in the world. A nice safe garden for when we are older would be great too, so we can play and explore. We really like scratcher posts and ball toys but, as we’re only just discovering toys, anything new will help peak our curiosity to explore. We’re very good on our litter tray, share a large tray but have also used both open and hooded trays and we are ready to start our new lives now.
