Milky Bar kittens

This lovely pair are two of a litter of 5 kittens brought to the Ark after being abandoned in a house without food, water or their mother when their owner moved house. They’d even given the mother away! Their plight was notified to a local animal lover who rescued them and fed them on cow’s milk till they could be transferred to the Ark, hence their Milky Bar name. They were beautiful kittens and adopted quickly once we’d weaned them onto proper kitten food and here are two of them, happily settled into their home. Their new dad says that they’re not keen on going outside yet but after their very shaky start in life, plus being neutered, he’s not surprised they’re just happy for now with the security of home.

A happy ending for these babies. It could all have been such a different story if some kind people hadn’t cared enough to ensure they went to a place of safety.
